Desert Greens is a planned golf course community for active adults 55+. The community has a total of 324 home sites. The final phase is just 72 new Factory built homes. Not to be confused with “mobile homes”, our homes are built like homes, but to higher standards with better quality control and then assembled on site. For this final phase of the Desert Greens Community, we refreshed our home purchase programs to make home ownership easier and more affordable by moving the land value into a 99 year, fully transferable land lease ($300 per month). Land leasing is common in the Eastern United States, but considered “innovative” in the West. For the new home buyer, the lease reduces the monthly payment by about $200 per month over financing the land over 30 years. By removing the land from the purchase, we are able to lower the home purchase to just $120,000. With only 72 home sites, don’t wait.
